Village Attacks is a tower defense, miniatures based, board game where you control the bad guys. Take on the role of evil monsters from legend and folklore as angry villagers and peasant mobs storm your castle stronghold. There are a lot of things to like about this game, from the fantastic miniatures, to the high intensity scenarios, but there are few things that need to be addressed as well. The complete lack of a storage solution (aside from keeping everything in the 12 expansions boxes, which no one wants to do), the fact that most of the AI boils down to a coin toss, and how rules are presented in the rule book, are some of the things I don’t like about Village Attacks. Overall though, a nice tower defense style board game. Watch the video for my expanded thoughts.
