Gangly games has just launched Gangs of Britannia on Kickstarter
Gangs of Britannia is a game where you play as historic British gangs, such as the Peaky Blinders and the Kray Twins, that is based around the age old prisoner’s dilemma. Two prisoners have committed a crime, but are given the option to eliminate their sentence by incriminating and ratting out their fellow criminal. What should they do? Stay silent, or rat out?
Gangs of Britannia’s prisoner’s dilemma is the choice to cooperate with your rival gangs, or deceive them to steal men and territory. The trick is choosing the right moment to stick the knife in. Deceive early in the game and the trust is decimated. Deceive too late, and other gangs become more powerful than you and you lose control.
Gangs of Britannia is a game of scheming, bluffing, secret information, backstabbing, negotiation, deal making and deceit. The game is sure to make your fall out with your good friend or significant other.
