Rhodrick Magsino, the creative producer of Little Brass Bird is returning to Kickstarter on April 21st with Alewood, a Wild West tabletop drinking game where your beer is one of the components.
Alewood mashes gaming culture and drinking culture together to form a delightfully rowdy social experience. Sit back and enjoy your drink because the game changes with the amount of beer in your pint glass. Pound ’em back, or savor every sip; every strategy has advantages.
Developed and tested extensively over the past year, Alewood will be available for $40 on Kickstarter on April 21st. With free shipping to US backers, and low rate shipping to Europe and the rest of the world.
The core game comes with over 90 pieces, including a sexy six-shooter measuring tool! Stretch goals will include doubling the deck size, additional characters & higher quality components! The Kickstarter link will be posted on the official game website & all social networks on launch day.

About the Game:
Play as one of the last honest citizens of Alewood, a town overrun by Outlaws. With no means of escape, hope seems lost until a stranger in a black carriage arrives with a mysterious offer. One ticket out of town, with a price – paid in blood. Citizens turn vigilante as you race to be the first to gun down 2 outlaws and win your ticket to freedom.
In Alewood, you work together to wear down various outlaws, but only 1 player can fire the final shot and win the bounty. Use beer to control your dice. The more you drink, the more bullets you have – but consume wisely! If your beer runs out, so does your ammunition, and you will leave yourself open to attack.
Draw cards to arm yourself with tricks, upgrades and allies, or use your unique character abilities to tilt the game in your favor. In Alewood, money brings opportunity for action. Work together to circulate money in the Economy and give everyone a fair shake, or hoard the cash to cripple the competition. But step carefully; greed will make you a target for thirsty townies. Duel each other for items and money when all seems lost or to cut another player down to size.
Trade items, strike deals or team up to take down another player gunning for the win!
